Medical Control

The injured employee may select a medical provider from the Nevada Workers'
Compensation Administrator's (WCA) panel of physicians and chiropractors.
The injured employee may change to a new medical provider within 90 days of
injury without prior authorization. If the change takes place beyond 90 days, the
injured employee must seek prior authorization from the imployer/insurer. The
employee may select his/her own pharmacy or select a pharmacy from the
Express Scripts pharmacy network. Emergency medical care should be secured at
the nearest location.
